About me and Krav Maga - Крав Мага

 

My name is Cedric JACQUOT-PREAUX, I am from France and live in Sofia Bulgaria since May 2013.

I pratice Krav Maga since 2008 , 5 years spent under the teacher Steve Naouri ( 5th Dan of Krav Maga and founder / technical director of Krav Martial Federation.)

Big Part of my knowledge comes from him and I am currently representer of Krav Martial Federation.

Since 1.5 years in Sofia , I was following couple of seminar to refresh some of my techniques. But I was mainly praticing Kickboxing and nowadays following some Combat Sambo courses and Grappling courses in Sofia.

I was not able to find a suitable Krav Maga course in Sofia , there is very few club and some do not teach Krav Maga. After all , this matter of taste and expectation.

In June 2014, I was participating to one seminar in Israel of 1 week (Netanya - Wingate Institute - The cradle of Krav Maga). I hope to go there again to recieve Krav Maga instruction.

Krav Maga is one of my hobby, I am full time employee in IT company.

 

My aims iare :

 

- Share my whole knowledge and be able to give to anyone interrest an interresting content.

- Improve my own knowledge , when you teach you have to be more accurate on the techniques

- To make Krav Maga more famous and more likeable.

- To develop new skills with the contact of other specialist.

 

I am the teacher of Krav Maga Sofia - Крав Мага София.

 

Beside Krav Maga I practiced French Boxe most known under the name Savate.

 

What is Krav Martial ?

 

 

Krav Martial is improved Krav Maga in many techniques and bring some additional techniques specially for ground fight and takedown.

Steve decided instead to twist the name Krav Maga like many experts do, to define a kinda new disipline.

Steve pratices Krav Maga for more than 20 years and have some advanced skills in Muy Thai , Judo , BJJ  , Aikido ...

Krav Maga is still under developpement , under improvement , some people prefer to overuse the term Krav Maga , some prefer to define an alternative.

There is nowadays numerous Krav Maga federations but just few of them teach authentic Krav Maga ( like IKMF, KMG, FEKM ...)
